The Athlete's Revolt Against Racism

  • Portland State University 1825 Southwest Broadway Portland, OR, 97201 United States (map)

Take a knee! Against police violence. Against racism. Against the brutality of this unjust system. Stand up for justice and dignity. From John Carlos to Colin Kaepernick to high schoolers all across the country, athletes have proven that player protests are not a spectator sport. Join us for a discussion on the Athlete's Revolt and how we on campus and in the city can stand in solidarity with them -- how we all must fight for a future in which oppression and exploitation are consigned to the dust bin of history!

Thursday, Nov. 9th, 7pm - 9pm
PSU, Smith Student Union, Room 296/8
