Tens of thousands of people mobilized in Boston on August 19 in a magnificent display of solidarity against a rally that far-right and neo-Nazi forces had been organizing for weeks. This display of solidarity frightened the far-right off of Boston's streets and far-right groups have cancelled upcoming rallies in more than 36 cities. This is how we fight back against bigotry and fear-mongering, but what are the lessons we can learn from Boston's stand against hate and how do we apply them here in Portland? Join the ISO for this important discussion on continuing our struggle and confronting the far-right wherever they might emerge!
